Patch and Shez have walked a long road together, from pre-show maintenance on his back and hamstrings to now rehabbing his suspensory injury Shez has been number 1 on Patch’s team. Although he won’t admit it, Shez is Patch’s favourite person, she always hits the right spot and makes him feel like a million bucks.

Zozo met Shez at the worst part of her career, she was in agony from an ill fitting saddle. By alternating shockwave and fascia release sessions weekly for a couple of weeks Shez settled the spasms poor Zozo had through her back into her sacro regions. Now she gets seen monthly with either a shockwave or a fascia release session and the occasional taping for maintenance. Everytime Shez walks into the yard Zozo screams with excitement in the hopes that shes come to visit her.

The most challenging part of owning horses is keeping them happy, healthy and injury free!! If a horse feels good, they perform well and your riding experience is overall more positive. We have seen an improvement in our horses’ well being since The Olive Holistic Practices team came into our lives and began treating them both!! Let me start by saying that im convinced he only injures himself so that he can see Shez! At first the shockwave machine was sent to kill him, but through Shez’s calm and positive approach he’s learnt he quite likes how he feels afterwards and now goes out of his way to invent pains she needs to attend to.

Shez and Tiny met after he picked up a pelvis injury shortly after coming off the track. With shockwave and taping Shez had this horse back in the arena in just over a month. From a horse who wouldn’t stay sound for longer than 3 days to a horse that was ready to go to his first show!!!
